Scent of Paris

Yes we are looking at more celebrity fragrances. Paris Hilton’s new scent, stole the evening at the Fifi awards-which are considered the Oscars of the perfume world. The scent won the title of best celebrity fragrance, a fact that all was not missed by Paris when she celebrated with her parents and boyfriend.

Another guest at the awards ceremony, Dustin Hoffman seemed unfazed by the judge’s decision and was eagerly discussing his own favourite scent-the natural smell of his wife Lisa. When leaning in to sniff her neck Hoffman commented that he had fallen in love with his wife’s natural fragrance many years ago.

Hilton’s scent called the fairy dust, appears to have been a massive hit both in the US and in Europe; following on from the Paris Hilton Eau De Parfum spray. This will we imagine have made the evening even more enjoyable for the turn and her boyfriend, reality show star Doug Reinhardt.

It seems that Paris is the graceful winner; obviously still elated by the earlier evenings win she utilised her twitter page to congratulate the artist formerly known as P Diddy, Sean Combs. This was following the earlier announcement that he had won an award in the men’s cologne category.

Following this, Hilton was singing the praises of the Queen Latifah and commenting that she was looking stunning at the awards ceremony.

If you’re wondering where a Paris got a name for her fragrance from, she used children’s fairytales as inspiration for the name fairy dust. The new fragrance consists of notes of pink peonies and a hint of orange blossom. The advert for the fragrance has stuck in most people minds because it featured Paris dressed as Tinker Bell, the fairy from the Peter Pan stories.

Congratulations to Paris Hilton for winning the award for her scent, and we wish her all the best for her forthcoming perfume range.
